The Peer Mentoring Program at The Women’s College is a vital committee as it aims to bridge the gap between not only girls in the same year, but also between years. The idea is to pair a Freshman student with a respective Sophomore/Senior student. Over the years we have been trying to match girls based on interests, passions, etc. and not just in terms of degrees. This program helps to facilitate new friendships and also give the new freshmen an incoming support network to help them manoeuvre around college with ease.
We aim to offer a variety of activities for the girls who join Peer Mentoring with activities such as Thai dinner, movies nights and games to help the students get to know one another. Students can easily join the Peer Mentoring Program by signing up on a sign-up sheet and filling out a questionnaire in the beginning few weeks of semester.
